Classroom Library

Classroom Library
and
Always looking for more books!!!
This was last year when I put my room together and the classroom library with their leveled book boxes.  I am always looking for more books for my kiddos especially of all levels, but especially the higher leveled books.

If you would like to donate to my classroom library please message me on FB or my website.  My kiddos will be forever grateful as well as myself.
Enjoy your day!!!

Summer

         Lollipop...
                      Watermelon...
                                           Lemonade...
                                                               Popcycles...
Those are all things that sound like a yummy summer!!  I hope everyone is enjoying their summer break.  If you are like me you are probably scanning some of the teacher sites to gather ideas for the upcoming school year and making notes of some grand ideas to put into place.  I know when the middle of July rolls around it seems like there is no time and back to school it is with putting the classroom back together.  Every year I always want to add a few new things to my class and keep my old things that seemed to work for me.
I love being creative and organized in my classroom and keeping a feeling of a learning environment for my kiddos.

Prayers for Orlando

So, the last few days have been very rough on Orlando, Florida with the most recent being the alligator grabbing the 2 year old little boy late last night.  Prayers go out to ALL of Orlando to all of the people there.
May God bless them all.
Amen.

Data Wall

Welcome to my DATA Wall!  I was so excited to use this last year and it was a great success.  So, it's kind of hard to tell without all of the clips on it right now, but when it's up and running the kiddos really do keep and eye on it as well as I do.  So, here is how it works  There are 4 colors of ribbon to stand for D-Distinguished, P-Proficient, A-Apprentice, N-Novice.  I used black, yellow, red, and blue respectively.   Then, you get clothes pins and write your students first initial and last name or how ever you would like to do that.  Every time you have a common assessment, or important test then you have each class move their pins.   THEY LOVE THIS.   I promise you they keep up with where they moved from and where the other classes are too.  I have had some kiddos even say "Hey I want to be moved to class such and such their scores are higher."   I hope you enjoy!! Bless!!
